International Packaging and Food Processing Systems
Exhibition was held at the same time with the GIDA
fair on December 02-05, 2009 at CNR Expo Center by
Istanbul Trade Fairs. IPACK, which hosted leading
brands of countries like Italy, Germany, the
Netherlands, Iran and Syria, had 31.668 professional
visitors of whom 2.458 were foreign. The fair was
supported by DTM (Undersecretariat for Foreign
Trade, Turkey) and KOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry
Development Organization),
The trade fair IPACK, which is an important platform
for bringing the industry professionals together
with the innovations in growing packaging, packaging
machinery and food technologies in the sector,
hosted buying delegations from Austria, Germany,
Belarus, Russia, Bulgaria, Algeria, Morocco,
Georgia, Iraq, Iran, the UK, Canada, Maleysia, the
Sultanate of Oman, Romania, Singapore, Syria, Saudi
Arabia, Ukraine and Greece visited IPAC’09. Among
the other visiting countries at the fair were
Taiwan, China, Italy and the Netherlands.
IPACK 2009 hosted buying groups from various cities
in Turkey including Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara,
Kocaeli, Bursa, Edirne, Konya, Tokat, Kayseri,
Gaziantep, Canakkale, Mersin, Balıkesir,
Afyonkarahisar, Zile, Gonen, Hatay, Aydın,
Kahramanmaras, Kutahya, Samsun, Iskenderun, Bilecik
and Aksaray.
IPACK 2009 was organized concurrently with the 17th
International Food Products and Processing
Technologies Exhibition. Thus, the participants of
GIDA had the opportunity to establish business
contacts with IPACK professionals.
The product profile of the fair included food
processing machinery, glass boxes and wooden packs,
corrugated boxes, packing fill sheets and machinery,
shrink wrap and stretch materials, quality control
systems, dough processing machines, thermoform
systems, enveloping machinery.
Manufacturing
industry professionals, agriculture machinery
producers, purchasing directors of hotel equipment,
hotel owners, producers of building materials, fresh
fruit and vegetable industry members, automotive
side industry members and manufacturers of spare
parts, printing industry representatives, industrial
designers, pharmaceuticals sector members,
manufacturers of cosmetics and cleaning products,
catering products production sector, and stationery
products manufacturers made up the visitor profile
of the exhibition.
